If a customer suffers a personal accident or accidental death whilst in a road traffic accident, they are not always covered by their main insurance policy. Our Accidental Death and Personal Accident product is designed to offer compensation for the customer following death, serious injury or hospitalisation following an accident.
Our cover includes:
- Accidental Death £30,000
- Total and irrecoverable loss of sight in one eye £15,000
- Total and irrecoverable loss of sight in both eyes £30,000
- Loss of two limbs £30,000
- Loss of one limb £15,000
- Permanent total loss of speech £30,000
- Permanent total loss of hearing in one ear £7,500, in both ears £30,000
- Permanent total disablement £30,000
- Paraplegia/Quadriplegia/hemiplegia £30,000
- Temporary Total Disablement up to £150 per week (Up to 52 weeks)
- Hospital daily cash benefit £50 for each complete day of confinement as an in-patient (Up to 10 days)
- Surgery Benefit up to £1,500 of medical expenses to cover an operation as a result of bodily injury excess of £250
- Funeral Benefit of up to £1,000 for an accidental death as a result of bodily injury
- Hospital daily cash benefit £100 for each complete day of confinement as an inpatient (Up to 6 days)
- Emergency Dental Treatment up to £500 to relieve pain
- Clothing and Personal Effects up to £250 if lost or damaged
- Five sessions of stress counselling arising from an assault, which results in either permanent total disablement or confinement in hospital for a period in excess of 2 days up to £1,000
